El personaje Pucca lo hizo Vooz Character System, una compañía Surcoreana. En el año 2000, apareció como imagen de un servicio de postales electrónico, pero debido a la gran aceptación se comenzaron a hacer 24 episodios de dos minutos y medio por segmento; posteriormente Fox Kids compró los derechos de Pucca, y junto a Vooz, se decidió agregar nuevos personajes y diálogos para ellos (excepto para Pucca y Garu). Actualmente esta serie se transmite por la cadena Jetix y ha crecido hasta convertirse en todo un éxito.

La canción "School of rock" (Escuela de rock) fue compuesta por Craig Wedren y se escucha en la película homónima de comedia infantil y música, la cual fue nominada en los Grammy Award 2004 por Mejor Filme/TV/Visual Media.
Es realmente extraño que la banda de sonido de una película para niños esté compuesta por temas de The Who, Ramones, Led Zeppelin y The Doors, entre otros. Pero no se trata de cualquier película para chicos, School of Rock fue dirigida por Richard Linklatter cuya filmografía es tan heterogénea e interesante como la música del filme.

Richard Steven Valenzuela nació el 13 de Mayo de 1941 y murió el 3 de Febrero de 1959. Este famoso cantante, guitarrista y pionero del Rock americano nació en Los Ángeles (California) y toda su familia era de origen mexicano.

Su corta carrera, sólo duraría unos 8 meses, pues fue truncada a los 17 años por un accidente aéreo, pero ese tiempo le bastó para ganarse un lugar en la historia del Rock & Roll de los años 50s. Algunas de sus canciones pertenecen a los éxitos más recordados de aquellos años.

La película "La Bamba", trata de la vida de este artista.

De nueva cuenta incluyo en mi blog una canción de la película 50 First Dates (Como si fuera la primera vez); y esta canción, bastante sencilla, fue hecha exclusivamente para una escena del filme donde el protagonista Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) le canta una canción a su adorada Lucy Withmore (Drew Barrymore) en la playa bajo las estrellas, al lado de una fogata y acompañado de una guitarra.
